Lantern Walk

Tonight, we enjoyed a magical shadow puppet play of the story "Sophie and the Lantern", followed by a lantern walk with all our friends. The air was chilly and it feels just right for the holidays. Hope you enjoy the beautiful, warm pictures as much as we enjoyed the time with our friends!

Advent/Stocking Swap

Here are some of the latest goodies from the Bits of Goodness swap. Aren't these adorable creations! I love creating handmade gifts and receiving them from people around the world. These beautiful creations came from New Zealand, Arizona and California.

Boo Boo learns to four-finger knit

In and out of the reeds he goes, and back again without any woes. Around the pond he swims, and finds a lily pad, hop, hop, hop, and off he swims so glad :-) I'm not sure if the little froggy in the story has more fun or if Boo Boo is having more fun. The first night after learning to four-finger knit, she woke up several times and asked if it was morning yet and if she could go get her knitting basket. Needless to say, there has been non-stop knitting since Wednesday afternoon! Uh-oh ... another fiber addict in the house!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

What a sweet little mermaid. But, wait ... who is that odd gnome that is following her around???? And that sassy cat??? I tell you, they will let anyone trick-or-treat around here. What has the neighborhood become? At least there are sweet little mermaids, maidens and princesses to the rescue. Maybe the Sugar Plum Fairy will have a hint of what's going on when she comes to pick up all the candy later tonight.

It's a Fairy Princess Tea Party

To celebrate her 5th birthday, Boo Boo wanted a Fairy Princess Tea Party with Fairy House building. We had such a wonderful time. Lot's of pumpkin fairy houses were built, geodes buried by the gnomes were discovered in nearby haystacks, pinatas were busted, and yummy fairy goodies were served. Boo Boo and her friends had a great time celebrating. Thank you all for making her day so special! We love you!

Getting Ready for the BIG SNOW!

Grandma sent Lexi a snowsuit and all the accessories. It was her one birthday wish from Grandma! She wants to be ready for all the BIG SNOW this winter. Hopefully, Mother Nature will fulfill the wish and send some snow our way ;-)
